Albertson's - sale good 1/7 - 1/13

Happy New Year Everyone! I took the last month and half off, but I am ready to start teaching, shopping, and posting again. Here is the latest deal I got.

Total Spent: $68.38
Total Savings: $246.62

Here is what I bought(4 Transactions):

6 Pantene Shampoo - $.17 each
6 Pantene Conditioner - .17 each
6 Pantene Hairspray - .67 each
12 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks - $.75 each
2 Betty Crocker Fruit Stakers - $.63 each
2 Bags Bugles - $1.00 each
1 Box honey nut Cheerios - $.25 each
6 Gillette Venus Razors -$.49 each
4 boxes Magic Erasers - $1.25 each
10 boxes Pillsbury Toaster Strudels - $.50 each
19 boxes Puffs Tissue - $.63 each
16 boxes Yoplait Gogurts - $.90 each

*The coupon for the Gillette Fusion men's Razor, listed on grocery smarts, says it is good for any Gillette razor. The Albertsons in Layton has a huge bin full on the Gillette Venus women's razors, which count in the $15 voucher sale. I bought these instead and I am going to take them back and exchange them for the men's razors when they get more in. The GM Manager at Albertson's gave me this idea.

*Because my preferred card has my address connected to it, I get coupons mailed to me every so often. This month I got coupons good for $6.00 off an $80 purchase. I asked the cashier if I could use it even though my $80 was spread across four different transactions. He let me use it. It might depend on the store and the cashier that you get, but if you have this coupon it is worth a try.

Albertson's - Sale good

Total: $50.18 after taxes
Saved: $208.55

Here's What I bought:
3 gallons of whole milk - $2.29 each
10 Large Candy Bars - $1.00 each
16 Cans of Ravioli - $.63 (I get the Standard Examiner, which sometimes doesn't have all the coupons. This was one of those times. I have been doing this for 15 months and this is the third time it has happened.)
20 cans of Pam - $1.25 each (there is a coupon in yesterday's SS for $.35/1 which would make it $.90 a can. I am going to take these coupons in along with my receipt and ask if they will give them to me. I've done this before and they usually let me.
36 banquet dinners - $.50 each (these are great for my husband's lunches)
6 Cafe Steamers - $.50 each
10 puddings - $50 each
6 Orville Redenbacher popcorn - $.60

Here's How:
8 Different Transactions
I had a $6.00 off coupon that Albertsons sent in the Mail because my preferred card has my address and information. I know some of you don't have your information linked to your card. You can go online and entered it. It is really easy and they send really good coupons every now and then.
$30 off my order from last weeks transactions

On another note, yesterday's SS also had a coupon for redi whipped topping good for $.50 off one. With the sale, it would make it $.50. This would be great to have for pies for Thanksgiving.

General Mills/Unilever promo Tip

This week there are some really good deals. There is a General Mills/Unilever promo which says you earn $15 on your next shopping trip when you spend $30 or more on any combination of these participating products. There is a limit to one $15 voucher per transaction. If you are getting more than $30, split the transactions up. You don't have to go through the line multiple times. Just put a divider between your orders and it shouldn't be a problem. Most stores will even let you use the $15 voucher you just recieved on your second order.
